Today I am thankful for oh so many things, but lately I've been especially thankful for these.......my old but new to me kitchen cabinets. Dean demoed a kitchen almost a year ago and the owner of the job he was working on offered him the opportunity to take all the cabs if he wanted them. We were so excited because it has truly saved us at least a few thousand dollars on custom made cabs or store bought ones. Because Dean is so handy and has all the tools needed he has been able to modify the old cabs he was given to fit our kitchen needs. I have been living almost 6 months without upper cabs (except on one wall) and let me tell you....I now feel like the luckiest girl alive. We still have to prime and paint them to match the bottom cabinets, but aren't they lovely?
Beautiful!!! You lucky girl!
ReplyDeleteI thought they were finished.. I like the dual color. It was fun. It will look lovely all green too. Nice choice.
ReplyDeleteIt looks fabulous! Congratulations on the cabinets and on having such a gifted husband.:) Lori
ReplyDeleteThat is so wonderful that your husband is so talented, and does so much around the house for you guys!!! The cabinets are looking GREAT! We just moved into our new rental, and the cabinets here are one of the only things I hate!!! So I am quite envious here! :o)
ReplyDeleteHurray for kitchen cabs! You are remarkable to have remained sane through the remodeling so far...
ReplyDeleteTalk to you soon!
