Gourmet Mudpies

I came out to check on the girls when I got out of the shower and this is what I found. Sloan knows she isn't supposed to play on Daddy's tool box, so she promised not to get any dirt on it. I love the dirt creations that they made. They really almost look good enough to eat.

This is a wedding cake.

This is a birthday cake.

Sloan mixing the batter.

In the blue dish Hershey kisses, a fancy soup, and I think the last one was a dinner meal.

These are sleeves, a new invention.

Peek-a-boo Aris

This week Aris has really started to talk. She can say baby, bye-bye, Abby, and bye-bye daddy. She has also started mimicking the sounds of the words we say. It is so much fun to hear her say these words in her little munchkin voice. One of her favorite things to play at the moment is peek-a -boo. I know she isn't facing the camera the whole time, but I love how she is walking along furniture and trying to turn herself around while standing. Plus there is nothing sweeter and full of sugar than the back of a baby's neck.

Good Morning Mrs. Hen

Sloan learned this in music class at school.

The Scene of the Crime

Oh, My!

Just as I suspected! They always hide the head in the trunk.

Thankfully Ken has made a full recovery.

I had to giggle about this one.

Mission Accomplished

I have wanted to work on my art wall for quite a while now. I have so many wonderful paintings and drawings that I have collected over the years. Dean and I came up with the idea for an art wall when we got our new furniture and TV a while back. Although I have some lovely pieces, frames can add up quickly. So I buy a frame from time to time when I find them on sale hoping that I will have something to fit the bargain buy. I don't know why it takes me so long to do some projects. Anyhow here is the wall thus far. The crazy thing is that this isn't even half of what I have to hang. I have managed to hang most of the small things (easier to find small frames on sale) Now I will be on the lookout for the larger sized frames. I think its time to go to bed. It's hard for me to sleep when my Dean isn't home. He will be back tomorrow. We had a nice chat tonight. He has had a lot of fun riding and the weather has been perfect. Not to hot, not to cold. Perfect for all the gear that he wears when on his dirt bike. I am glad he was able to go, Dean works so hard and doesn't get to ride dirt bikes like he used to when we first met. Plus I like all of the friends he went camping with. They all watch out for each other on the rides and they are good guys. Super mellow and a few of them have kids. I got lucky with Dean. All his friends are super mellow and nice. Well it's time for me to go to sleep. Goodnight!
