Future felons? Nope just a bunch of rowdys.

I just got home from my last day of aftercare at the school. Let me tell you it couldn't have ended with more drama than it did today. One little boy kicked Zoe in the face, she will have a nice bruise for the next little while. Then a few minutes later this same little boy, I looked up to check on the upper playground and low and behold he is playing with himself and then peed on the playground. Yes I will admit it took me a little by surprise also. I will tell you his only saving grace is that he has downs. I am sure he knows better, but I don't know for sure. Then another little boy turned on the hose and proceeded to spray down one of the other students, while another little boy proceeded to come up to the boy who had just been hosed down and punched him square in the chest. Then I had to chase the little stinker around the playground, down the slide (almost to small for me) until I finally caught him where he proceeded to kick, slap and try to bite me and two other teachers. Wait it gets better. As we are lining up for snack, two other little boys get in a knock down drag out fist fight. I mean full blows to the face. I had to break it up. I kind of felt like I was in a season finally of MSNBC's Inside the pin series. Seriously. We were watching the kids and we just couldn't keep up with the mayhem. Once we got one thing under control another thing would happen. So that is my last day at after school care story. It is all true. All names have been withheld to protect the innocent, or should I say not so innocent.

Don't you wish your sisters were hot like mine (to be sung to the tune of that one song)

I have to say that my two little sisters are the hottiest hotties around! It is too bad that I got hit with the ugly stick when I was but a small girl. I think I got the mutant genes when it came to the reproductive gene pool. Mom and Dad, are you sure I'm not adopted? I have never ever been able to pull off the I am cutie look, but you two come by it naturally. I love you both sooooooo much!

P.S. Where are the drawings you promised me? I am waiting, and waiting, and waiting.......lol.

Just a moment.....

Just a quick post before I get to work. Today nothing exciting happened. I am however going to sew. I have an idea for the blankets I am making for the girls. Off to create. goodbye for now.

56 miles

I woke up this morning feeling like a ton of bricks had been unloaded on me. I had such a hard time getting motivated to walk. I wasn't going to go because the weather has been so rainy. It was sprinkling outside and I was tired but for some reason I went anyway. After I was done with my walk I felt a lot better. So far I have walked 56 miles. Not very many but 56 closer to my goal. No one showed up to walk today, I think it was because of the yucky weather. Melanie and I will be stepping up the walk workouts with some training for the upcoming 5k we will be doing in July. So starting Monday I will be a little more focused on the whole get in shape, eat healthier, and exercise routine goal.

An Afternoon in Pictures

Sloan reading to Zoe.

Dozzers right after her nap.

Sloan and Popeye.

I hope everyone had a lovely holiday weekend. Although Dean was camping and we weren't together for the weekend I still had a good time with the girls. On our way home from Kirsten's last night I had one of those "clear" moments when we were all in the car singing and talking. I am always in awe at how fun my girls are and how the dynamics of our family change from day to day. It is sometimes overwhelming how each little one has their own special personality. I sometimes wonder if I can keep up with all of them. I do know however, that I love these girls more than anything in this whole world.

Dean is home and he had a great weekend riding in Winnimucca. I am so glad he had a chance to go. He even made it home in time for our neighbor's BBQ. After the BBQ I went out for an hour with little Air Bear and it was nice to have some time to just kind of unwind. Dean was able to spend some time with Sloan and Zoe while I was gone. I had to return some pj's I bought for Aris, they had a hole in them. I am glad I did because while I was wandering through the store I found a twin sized bed skirt for the girls bed for $3. I was going to make one, but this was such a good deal I couldn't pass it up. It looks great and it hides all the toy bins stored under the bed. The house is sort of coming together. It has been a great weekend. I hope you all have had a great weekend also.
