New links

I am adding quite a few new links to my site today. If you have a few minutes check them out.

A busy holiday

Me and Zoe on Halloween night.

Today, so far has been a fun day. I took the girls to McDonald's. Then we ran some errands and came home. Abby and Sloan are playing Polly pockets, and puppies as we speak. Zoe and Aris are sleeping. I plan on letting them sleep as long as they are able. There is some yucky stuff going around and Zoe has a very runny nose. So she needs the sleep. As soon as Zoe wakes up we are heading to Hillary's Home to play. It is so cold and rainy out today that instead of going to the park we are going to Hill's home instead. I will write more tonight.

Crazy computer problems

Sorry guys, no pictures this time. Our computer is on the outs and the nerd herd is working on the problem. I am hoping to be back on line in the next week or so. At the moment I am at Sloan's old school, my old job and I have access to a computer so I thought that I would take advantage of the situation. It has been nice to see all the kid's and the teachers. I still love being at home with my little ones, and wouldn't give it up for any amount of money. Hopefully when I am able to write again I can add pictures of the painting I am starting. Until then take care!

Last art show at Never Ender

This was a nice show. Ahren's stuff was really great as usual. Jen, his wife did a lovely job on her show in the other side of the gallery. Her soft sculpture animals were very whimsical. My favorite sculpture was the bird who ate the worm, and the worm started eating the bird. The inside of the bird was very interesting. I am sad that Never Ender is closing its doors. Amber the owner, is however going to keep Never Ender going as an online store. She will continue to sell unique clothing, hand crafted item's from local crafter's, and will host art shows at different locations. Amber is always very supportive of local artist's and crafter's. The art scene here in Reno is slim to Nil, not due to the lack of talent, just the lack of support for up and coming artists. It is nice to know that people like Amber are still trying to show support for the struggling artist. I have included Ahren's, and Never Ender's website on my link list. I have also included other sites of interest under my link list. Some are artist site's, crafter site's, or just kind of fun blogs or web site's to check out. Have fun taking a look around and be sure to show support for your local artists and crafter's.

This was a super special birthday. It was so fun to have family and friends come by and join in the celebration. How blessed we truly are!
