Birthday fun

Dean bought Sloan a water slide and pool for her birthday. The picture on the package made it look as if 10 kids could party in the pool. Needless to say it was quite small. With that being said there were still many squeals and giggles in our yard this afternoon. Sloan also got a scooter. I didn't think we would get one until the fall. Dean is such a softie, he bought her one last night also. I was able to take Sloan to Justice tonight. In case you have never been there before it is an overpriced store for pre-teen girls. Filled with very overpriced clothes and lots of nick knacks. Sloan was dying to go so she could get a beanie baby malamute. She ended up buying a Webkinz. It is a penguin, and she named him Pistachio. (I helped with the name) She loves it and can't wait to play on the computer tomorrow. Thank you Grandma Swanson for the Webkinz. It was a hit!

Happy Birthday Sloan

Happy happy birthday Sloanie dear.

Happy days will come to you all year.

If I had one wish it would be,

A happy happy birthday too you from me!

This is a little birthday song I was taught years ago in primary. Yes my baby girl is turning 8 today. I can hardly believe it. She is such an inspiration too me, and I love her more than words could ever say. Happy birthday my darling Sloan!

Ladybugs

Here is the first of the ladybugs. Just thought you might want to sneak a peak.

Soggy Zozzers

Sloan and Zoe were practicing ballet tonight. Zoe lost interest half way through due to the fact of having a bossy older sister. Zoe doesn't always want to follow sissy's directions. So Zoe went outside and played for quite a while. Dean came inside and said, "Zoe go tell mommy what you told me." Zoe walks up to me and says, "I'm diaper change mommy." You think? If you look hard enough in the picture you will notice two little bumps that are her bum, then the way so soggy diaper that makes her look like her body is sooper long. We all got a kick out of this one. It is definitely time to potty train.

Cleaning House

I want to apologize for the lack of posts lately. I just feel a little out of sorts with my new schedule. Sometimes it takes me a good week to get into the swing of things when we have big changes around here. To be honest I have been enjoying my early morning walks with the girls and long afternoon naps with the little ones. I think it is safe to say that Sloan has been enjoying the TV time when I nap with the girls. I have just been a little lazy for the past few days. It is much deserved. It has given me a chance to clean and organize our little home, spend special time with each of the girls and to work on some sewing. It has also given me a chance to dream and imagine. With that comes all these new inspirations and ideas. I will be over the next few weeks trying to clean up my blog. I just want it to look a little more polished. I will also be adding new links and hopefully revamping the way my art is shown at the bottom of my blog. Comments are much appreciated. Let me know what you think when I am done. Take care!
