7 Months

7 Months

Little Mister I adore you more than you will ever know. You are the cutie in patootie! You have just started to do the army crawl. Which now means I need to baby proof the house. It also means you have a penchant for markers that the girls leave on the floor. You like to color on the walls, floor, & yourself. You pretty much have markers on your face & hands 24/7 these days. Even when I put the markers up you somehow find them. Thankfully for the walls & floors they are washable. Unfortunately for you they don't come off quite as nicely.
You are now eating peaches, pears, apples, peas, string beans, carrots, & rice cereal. I'm so happy that I have been able to make all of your baby food. Yes you are a healthy eater. I guess that is why you weigh 21 pounds. You love to smile & laugh. You love your sisters & when your dad is home you watch him & smile. You are a watcher & studier of things. Even Zoe has noticed this. I think you are fascinated by everything new around you.
You also have become very verbal. You can say Dada & Momma. You love to make all sorts of sounds. You can also wave. I don't think you know what it means yet, but it's still super cute.
Oh my sweet little Oblio, I love you so very much!

Nanoo Nanoo!!!

A spacegirl from another planet????

A budding photographer???

Dada at it's finest????

Nope just my girl Zoe & her little creative outfit she put on the other morning. This is why I still pick out their clothes. If I didn't my kids tend to look like they've escaped from the orphanage. Really in truly though, how cute are these dress up clothes? I love them. They are made with a nice heavy cotton & it looks like all the stars & spaceships have been hand printed on the fabric. It's hard to find quality dress up that lasts, these are made for heavy play. I know they will be around for the grand kids to play with one day. I actually found them at a yard sale with the tags still on. The hat $1. The pants $1. Wish I had snagged a few more (there were tons of them) so I could give them as gifts at parties. My kids love them & I know little Oblio will enjoy pretending he's a spaceman someday. You can find more amazing Wovenplay goodness ::here::

4th Finish

"Happy Birthday Love"

I have had so much fun creating all of these "Love" cards for Simply Sweet Marriage. I'm almost sad to see that I only have one more to finish. I have learned a lot from this project. I will never take on another project unless I know I can get it done in a timely manner. If I'm to progress in my talents & dreams I really do need to become more professional when it comes to time lines. It's been a hard lesson for me to learn & an embarrassing one at that.

Hard to believe that the weekend is already here. I'm super excited. Weekends are filled with lots of family time these days. We usually head to the skate park with the girls. Zoe is trying to learn how to skateboard (love this!!!) I love being surrounded by family, mountains, blue sky, & fresh air!

I have a couple creative things on my list this weekend & promise to share pictures as I finish each project. What are your creative plans for the weekend?

Home A Work in Progress

BEFORE

During..............

I promise to show you an after picture as soon as Dean is done. This entryway is a work in progress. Remember ::this:: post? So things take a while to get done around here. The point is they do eventually get done. I think it makes the space look so much better. Dean also added the two can lights & took down that hideous light fixture that was there before.  Tomorrow he plans on patching, mudding the walls & then adding texture. I just adore him for doing this project. I really wanted this archway & he was like, okay. How lucky can one girl be? The tile will eventually come up & be replaced with something better. The people who did this ahhhhhhmazing tile job didn't know what they were doing. They tiled over vinyl. As you can imagine the tiles are cracking & coming up little by little. The floor is next on our list of things to do in this space. Oh that & a new front door. They will both have to wait because they are big ticket items. I think it's shaping up pretty well don't you?
