Lazy Sunday

I haven't done a thing today. Well I went to church, and cleaned the house and then I took a super long nap with my Zoe. I feel like I haven't done anything productive though. I guess sometimes you need those days. I am heading to the chair in my livingroom to work on some new sketches.
I went to one of my favorite stores yesterday, TJMaxx, and bought some frames for the artwork that I am going to put in my shop. I also found some cute frames at Target. The frames that I really love are the ones you can find at antique markets and yard sales. They are super gaudy and really elaborate, they are my favorite. They are also hard to find. Well enough about frames. I must go and work on art. Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

Super Sunday

Today was so nice. Church was awesome, all the kids cooperated. I only had to leave class once to feed the baby and then she fell asleep. Came home and took a tiny nap with the girls. Sloan has been oh so helpful and the girls just played and played a grand game of hide and go seek. Zoe only knows how to count to three and that gave her an unfair advantage, but Sloan didn't seem to mind. The house was seriously filled with giggles almost the whole evening. When the giggles turned to joyous screams I had my fill. Mean mommy came out and stopped the fun. I know I'm terrible huh? Dean has been working all day on the cabinets for the side job he has. The lady he's making them for just asked if he could make some more cabs for her downstairs. We are so blessed to have this work coming his way. The economy is so iffy and we have a lot of friends who are out of work or taking pay cuts. Considering the state of things these days we feel very fortunate.
I am working on Katie turtle and hope to have her finished by tonight or tomorrow afternoon. Then I will be starting on the mammoth canvas that is taking up almost one whole wall of the living room. It will be for the JDRF auction. I am hoping to have that done by the weekend if I can get in a couple nights of solid painting time.
The little ones are in bed, Sloan is in the tub and Dean is cleaning up the outside work area for the day. It is time for me to get to work on the ol' art. My batteries lost juice so they are recharging at the moment. Look for some more pics tomorrow. Until then sleep well all.

Sunday, Sunday, can't trust that day..........

Sloan, Tony, and Zoe

Our little drummer girl

Sara, Tony and Hailey

Today was a lovely day. The girl's and I went to church and didn't get to stay the whole time because Aris was so grumpy. Actually all my girls were less than pleasant to be around today. These are the day's that make you wish the Calgon commercials were real.
What was pleasant however, is that we were able to have Tony and Sara and their adorable little daughter Hailey over for dinner tonight. They were kind enough to watch our pup's while we were in San Diego. It is so nice to know that there are still kind neighbor's. Thanks you guy's.
