Peanut Butter & Jelly Moment

Sloan & Abby

These two are the best of friends. Lately they are all abuzz about the two cutest boys they know. For real? I really didn't think I'd have to deal with the giggles and swiissishhhhsiss (this is the sound of whispering, just in case you didn't know) and the boy craziness for at least a few more years. So far it's all pretty innocent. It's so strange to watch these moments while they are happening. Where did my chubby cheeked little tot go to? Why do they have to grow up so fast? When we got home the other day I informed the girls that I would give them the giant box that we had brought back all their Christmas Carnage in, so they could play with it outside. You would have thought I had given them the world. The girls took it outside, colored on it, played in it and then eventually sat in it. Snuggled together like any two best friends would on a cold day, in a box, with a journal, that I know had writings about who was the cutest guy. I will never peek. That would just be rude. So as grown up as they are trying to be, they still are so very young. And that's fine with me.

Say What???????????

Welcome Back!

I, like many of you don't personally know Stephanie of Nie Nie Dialogues. I have read her blog in the past but lost the address among the piles of scribbled papers of blogs to visit again. I do that. Then a couple of months back tragedy struck Stephanie and her husband, and it effected their sweet little family, friends and eventually others around the world. I found her blog again. I have kept up with her sisters blog over the months, have prayed for a family I don't even know. I have been touched that so many people who are willing to come together to help in a time of need for someone we only know through words on a computer screen. I would like to think that the world isn't half as bad as most people would like us to believe. There are still good people in this world. People who love, give and help with no questions asked. Just cause. I have seen proof people. If you don't believe me just take a look at a few of the people you now consider friends. Your fellow bloggers you follow. A sort of modern day pen pal if you will. Then tell me if you still don't believe. I sure do. So Stephanie, I know you will probably never read this post and that's ok. I still wanted to welcome you back. I look forward to reading your blog once again.
