Happy Saturday

Silly little Moe

This has proven to be a busy Saturday. Even though it's been filled to the brim with activities I have found it rather relaxing. There is something comforting about spending your day with family. I have a mountain of laundry to fold and a super messy house to clean. I couldn't be happier. My windows are open to let in the fresh cool breeze & it's hard to feel anything but happy on days like this. Especially when most days have been overcast & filled with cold chilly winds. When the girls woke up this morning they couldn't wait to put on skirts & capris. I am loving the fact that soon my laundry piles will shrink just a little. Winter clothes will be set aside for a few months & sandals will replace snow boots. Days like this make me feel rejuvenated.

How are you spending your Saturday?

We spent our Saturday hauling rock and dirt to our almost finished backyard. We did it as a family. I love the days when you can be with your family.

Sounds like a lovely Saturday of perfect contentedness -- the very best kind! Hope to see photos of the flannel blanky project soon (and really love the "tantrum" series below ... your model was spot-on in her cues!)
