Mission Accomplished

I have wanted to work on my art wall for quite a while now. I have so many wonderful paintings and drawings that I have collected over the years. Dean and I came up with the idea for an art wall when we got our new furniture and TV a while back. Although I have some lovely pieces, frames can add up quickly. So I buy a frame from time to time when I find them on sale hoping that I will have something to fit the bargain buy. I don't know why it takes me so long to do some projects. Anyhow here is the wall thus far. The crazy thing is that this isn't even half of what I have to hang. I have managed to hang most of the small things (easier to find small frames on sale) Now I will be on the lookout for the larger sized frames. I think its time to go to bed. It's hard for me to sleep when my Dean isn't home. He will be back tomorrow. We had a nice chat tonight. He has had a lot of fun riding and the weather has been perfect. Not to hot, not to cold. Perfect for all the gear that he wears when on his dirt bike. I am glad he was able to go, Dean works so hard and doesn't get to ride dirt bikes like he used to when we first met. Plus I like all of the friends he went camping with. They all watch out for each other on the rides and they are good guys. Super mellow and a few of them have kids. I got lucky with Dean. All his friends are super mellow and nice. Well it's time for me to go to sleep. Goodnight!

I always search for cheap frames at yard sales and closeout sales...they're so hard to find. My favorite lucky find was an old-fashioned looking white and gold with a flowered vine design -- perfect for my WWII-era family photos! -- Eliza

That is a good idea. I always forget about the good ol' yard sales.

Me too Chris, me too. But just for a little while, I would miss my hubby and little ones too much.
