Little Miss Firecracker

Here she is, Little Miss Firecracker. A day late and a dollar short, I finished this little illustration this evening. I didn't start the sketch until late last evening. I was able to rough in most of the bottom layers of paint last night and finished up the remainder of the painting after the girls went to bed tonight. I know the flag is wrong, her arms look disjointed, and all around its pretty goofy. I had a lot of fun doing it, and I guess that is really all that matters. Hope everyone had a fun 4th of July.

She's adorable! I love patriotic art, especially the Little Miss Firecrackers of the art world...now I feel the urge to eat a slice of watermelon and light some sparklers!
